About us
Compank sells comfort and support products to people in Australia who spend most of their day sitting, standing or driving. Seat cushions, lumbar supports, pillows — the unglamorous things that decide whether your afternoon is bearable.
Why this, and not something else
Most of us sit far more than our bodies were built for, on chairs and car seats designed for a showroom rather than for eight hours. A good ergonomic chair fixes that and costs several hundred dollars. A cushion costs a fraction of it, works with the chair you already own, and goes in the car with you.
That gap — between putting up with it and spending a week's wages — is the whole reason this store exists.
How we choose what to sell
We keep the range small on purpose. Every product has to earn its place on three counts:
- It has to do one thing well. No gadgets with eleven functions that do none of them properly.
- It has to hold up. Foam that flattens in a fortnight is worse than no cushion at all.
- It has to work with what you already have. Nothing here needs a new chair, a new car or an afternoon of assembly.
When something stops meeting that bar, we drop it rather than discount it.
What we won't tell you
We sell comfort products, not medical devices. Nothing we sell treats, cures or prevents a condition, and you won't find that language anywhere on this site — not in a product description, not in an ad. If you're living with ongoing pain, the right first step is a GP or a physio, not a cushion.
What a good cushion can do is take pressure off the places a flat seat concentrates it. That's a real difference, and it's the honest version of the claim.
How we do business
- Free tracked shipping to every Australian state and territory, no minimum spend. The price on the product page is the price at checkout.
- 30 days to change your mind, and if something arrives faulty or isn't as described, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply on top of that — we cover the return postage in that case.
- Prices in AUD, GST included where applicable.
- Real replies. Email us and a person answers, Monday to Friday, usually within one business day.
