Shipping & delivery times
The full detail, in one place, with nothing buried. Plan on 7 to 14 business days anywhere in Australia. Some of what we sell ships from our Australian warehouse and some from overseas — both land inside that window, the local stock usually nearer the start of it.
Where your order ships from
This is the single biggest factor in how long you wait, so it's the first thing on this page rather than the last. Every product listing states its origin, and you can filter any collection by it.
Held in our Australian warehouse and dispatched the same business day when you order before 2pm AEST. Tends to land at the earlier end of the window.
- All helmets — certified stock is sourced locally
- Most items marked Ships from AU in the dispatch filter
- Express Post available where the network reaches
Dispatched from our supplier within 24 hours, then tracked the whole way to your door. No customs paperwork and no extra charge on arrival. Usually lands nearer the later end.
- Most lights, bags, tools and rain gear
- Tracking number issued at dispatch, not on arrival
- Express is not available on these items
If you order a helmet from Australia and a light from overseas in the same checkout, they arrive as two parcels with two tracking numbers. You are never charged twice for shipping — one order, one shipping fee, however many parcels it takes.
Estimate my delivery
Pick where it ships from and where you are. These are estimates based on Australia Post's published network times — not guarantees, because the carrier is not us.
Your details
Three questions, no email required.
What it costs
One shipping fee per order, no matter how many parcels it takes to get there. All prices in AUD and include GST.
| Service | Cost | Available on | Typical transit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard trackedAustralia Post Parcel Post | $9.95Free on orders over $99 Always | Every order, every state and territory | 7–14 business daysAnywhere in Australia, either origin |
| Express PostAustralia Post Express network | $16.95Not discounted by the $99 threshold | Items that ship from Australia onlyWithin the Express Post network | 5–9 business daysSaves the transit leg, not the handling |
| Remote and island surcharge | $0We don't add one | Everywhere we deliver | Add 3–7 days to the standard window |
Express Post is a domestic network. An item leaving an overseas warehouse can't join it until it's already in Australia, by which point the express part saves you a day at most and costs you seven dollars. Offering it there would be taking your money for nothing, so we don't.
How tracking works
Every order is tracked, including the cheap ones. You get the number when the parcel is scanned, not when it lands.
Order placed
Confirmation email straight away with what you bought and where each item ships from.
Dispatched
Second email with the tracking number, usually the same business day. This is the one to keep.
Delivered
Left in a safe place or taken to your local post office if a signature is needed and nobody's home.
Nobody home?
Most of our parcels go without a signature and get left in a safe place. If yours needs one and you're out, it goes to the nearest post office and waits — usually about 10 business days before it heads back to us.
- Ship to a work address if you're out during the day
- Use an Australia Post parcel locker — free, 24-hour access
- Set delivery instructions in the AusPost app once you have a tracking number
Tracking hasn't moved
A tracking number that sits on "awaiting collection" for a day or two is normal — the label is created before the parcel is physically scanned. For overseas parcels, it's also normal to see nothing for several days while it's in transit between countries.
If there's been no scan at all for 7 business days, tell us. That's our threshold for chasing it rather than yours.
What makes it slower
Stated plainly, because a surprise delay is worse than an expected one.
| Cause | Typical impact | What we do about it |
|---|---|---|
| Remote and island addresses | +3 to 7 business days | Flagged in the estimator above; no surcharge from us |
| Public holidays | +1 to 3 business days | They vary by state — the estimator skips weekends but not state holidays |
| Peak periodsBlack Friday, December, EOFY | +2 to 5 business days | We post a notice at the top of the site during peaks rather than quietly missing the window |
| Weather and network eventsFloods, fires, industrial action | Varies | Outside anyone's control; we'll tell you what the carrier tells us |
| Wrong or incomplete address | +5 days, or returned to sender | Contact us the same day you order and we can usually still fix it before dispatch |
If something goes wrong
Three situations, three plain answers. In all of them, contact us first — we'd rather sort it than have you fight the carrier alone.
It hasn't arrived
If your estimated window has passed and tracking shows no movement for 7 business days, email us with your order number. We lodge the enquiry with the carrier — you don't have to.
If it's genuinely lost, we replace it or refund it in full. You don't wait on an insurance claim to be resolved before we act.
It arrived damaged
Photograph the parcel and the item before you do anything else, then email us within 7 days of delivery. We'll replace it or refund it — you don't need to return a damaged item at your cost.
It's the wrong item, or it doesn't fit
30 days to return anything, change of mind included, provided it's unused and in its packaging. If we got it wrong — wrong item, or a mount standard listed incorrectly — we cover return postage too.
Helmets are the exception on change of mind: for hygiene and safety we can only accept them back unworn with tags attached and the box intact.
Your rights under Australian law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that goods are delivered within a reasonable time. Nothing on this page reduces those rights.
If a delivery is significantly late, you may be entitled to cancel and get a refund. Ask us and we'll action it rather than making you argue for it.
We won't quote you a delivery window we don't believe. It is common in this category to advertise "fast shipping" on a product that leaves an overseas warehouse and takes a fortnight — it lifts conversion and it produces a customer who feels lied to. We'd rather lose the sale at the product page than win it and lose it at the letterbox.
Common questions
When is the cut-off for same-day dispatch?
2pm AEST on a business day. After that, or on a weekend or public holiday, it goes out the next business day.
Do I pay customs or import duty?
No. Items shipping from overseas arrive with duties and taxes already handled — there is nothing to pay on arrival, and no customs paperwork for you.
Can I change my address after ordering?
If it hasn't been dispatched, yes — email us the same day and we'll change it. Once a tracking number exists the address is with the carrier, and redirecting is sometimes possible through the AusPost app but not guaranteed.
Do you ship outside Australia?
Not at the moment. Everything on this site is priced, stocked and supported for Australian delivery.
Is free shipping really free?
Over $99, yes — standard tracked, no threshold games and no handling fee added at checkout. Express is a separate service and isn't included, because it costs us more than the margin on a $99 order.
Can I collect in person?
No. We don't run a shopfront, which is part of why the prices are what they are.
Why does one order arrive as two parcels?
Because part of it came from Australia and part from overseas. You're only charged one shipping fee, and each parcel gets its own tracking number.
