Straightforward guidance on using and caring for the products we sell, and what to do if something isn't right.
Everything we sell is a comfort and support product for everyday use. Nothing we sell is a medical device, and we don't claim that it treats, cures or prevents any medical condition.
If you have pain, an injury, a diagnosed condition or you are pregnant, talk to your doctor or physiotherapist before changing how you sit, stand or sleep.
Before you use it
Unpack the item and check it over. If anything looks damaged, split or missing, stop and contact us instead of using it.
Let a new cushion or support sit at room temperature for a few hours before first use. Gel and memory foam are firmer when cold and soften as they warm up.
Using it safely
Place a seat cushion on a flat, stable seat and make sure it does not slide. Take extra care on wheeled, swivel or stool-type chairs, and never use a cushion on a seat where it lifts you above the backrest or a seatbelt's correct position.
Do not use a support product on a car seat unless the product page says it is made for vehicle use. Nothing should ever interfere with how a seatbelt sits across your body.
Build up your use gradually. If something feels uncomfortable, numb or painful, stop using it and check with a health professional.
Weight and fit
Check the measurements and any stated weight limit on the product page before you buy. A support that is too small, too large or loaded beyond its limit won't do its job and may wear out early.
Cleaning and care
Covers: remove and wash cold on a gentle cycle, then air dry. Don't tumble dry, iron or bleach.
Inner cushion or gel core: wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry fully before putting the cover back on. Never machine wash or soak the core.
Keep it away from heaters, direct sun, open flames and sharp objects. Heat and UV break down foam and gel over time.
Materials and sensitivities
Materials are listed on each product page. If you know you react to a particular fabric or foam, check the listing before ordering and contact us if anything is unclear.
Children and pets
These products are made for adults. Keep packaging, plastic bags and small parts away from children and pets, and don't let children use a cushion or support as a toy or as bedding.
When to stop using it
Stop using an item and contact us if the cover splits, the gel or foam leaks, a strap or buckle fails, or it no longer holds its shape.
If you believe a product is unsafe, email us with your order number and photos. We take safety reports seriously and will respond quickly.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item is faulty, unsafe or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, and we pay the return postage.
